Executive Vice President

As EVP of Penn-Florida Companies and Managing Director of Genmark Holdings, LLLP, Kimberly represents the family office and ownership on investment matters.

Fortuitously, what began as a job accounting for investments has evolved into a passion for making and managing investments. She earned her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Minnesota and began her career at Deloitte in the tax department where balance sheets and income statements translated into poetry for the left brain.

After earning her MBA from the University of Texas, she worked in the Ultra High Net Worth investment group at Salomon Brothers where preferred investments ranged from bonds to stocks, to currencies, to options and focused on positive absolute returns.

Eventually making her way to real estate as both a principal and service provider, she spent 9 years at Cushman & Wakefield covering CMBS servicers in addition to office tenant rep practice.

All of these interrelated and business cycle experiences have given her insight into how investments, transactions, deal structures, and fiscal and regulatory policies impact EPS, P/E ratios, covenants, investor perceptions, cash flow, and valuations.
