JONATHAN NEWMAN
General Counsel

Mr. Jonathan Newman joined Penn-Florida in 2015 as its in-house General Counsel, where he is responsible for reviewing and preparing legal documentation.  In addition to acting as lead counsel for Penn-Florida’s owned real estate portfolio, Mr. Newman oversees third party legal counsel, corporate litigation and trademark law.

Mr. Newman has also been admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, where he worked as a Chief Real Estate Counsel for Lord Baltimore Properties, a privately owned family real estate investment office.  He holds a Bachelor in Legal Studies, Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, and a Juris Doctor from American University – Washington College of Law.
