Ms. Thayer has been an active business and civic resident of Boca Raton and Palm Beach County for over thirty five years.  She is a former Boca Raton City Council Member, past Chairman of the Community Redevelopment Agency and Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Chair, and her extensive experience in municipal regulations and government planning has helped facilitate numerous transactions between city, county and state agencies.  Ms. Thayer has also served on the Palm Beach County Land Use Advisory Board, Metropolitan Planning Organization, and is the recipient of the Sun Sentinel Excalibur Award for Outstanding Business Leadership.  Prior to her career in real estate, Ms. Thayer ran a multi-million dollar corporation that catered to various engineering needs of real estate developers, builders and contractors.
