Mr. Applegate has an extensive background in golf course management, design and construction.  Mr. Applegate recently retired from Boca Resorts, Inc. where he served as Vice-President of Golf Development.  During his tenure with Boca Resorts, he was responsible for the creation of Grande Oaks Golf Club, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Naples Grande Golf Club, Naples, Florida and the Jack Nicklaus signature renovation of Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club’s golf course in Boca Raton, Florida.  Prior to Boca Resorts, Mr. Applegate headed the Gary Player Design Company and the Gary Player Management Company.  Mr. Applegate serves on the Advisory Boards of the Florida State Golf Association and the Society of Seniors.
